Barry Ginley
Chair of the Board
Barry has a wealth of experience working on disability issues, for the past 18 years, he has been the Equality and Access Advisor to the Victoria & Albert Museum. By guiding the V&A on developing inclusive practice, Barry was: the access led on the £250 million redevelopment of galleries and facilities; introduced new accessible interpretation; and implemented educational programmes for people with a mental health condition and people with a learning disability.
In 2018, Barry set up Tamstone Consulting Ltd, guiding organisations on how they can best meet the needs of disabled people. This builds upon Barry’s 30 years of experience of disability as: a board member of the Global Disability Innovation Hub; Deputy Chair of the Conservative Disability Group; adviser to Network Rail and London Legacy Development Corporation; former adviser to the Paralympic Legacy group; and a Trustee for the Maidstone Relief in Need charity. In October 2019, Barry was appointed as Chair for the Cabinet Office Regional Stakeholder Network in the south east.
