Anthony Richards

Museum and Heritage Consultant

Anthony is a museum and heritage consultant who has worked with audiences and groups with complex needs for over 30 years. He started his career at the Science Museum, London where he ran the specialist floor teams and produced creative events. He lead the development of Science Sleepovers, Lates evenings for adults, drama performances as well as the projects with community groups and those with extra support needs. The projects, such as the Early Bird programme for children with autism and the deaf tours have been replicated all over the world and have won numerous awards. He consults internationally with KCA London Ltd and has worked on major museum and gallery commissions in the Gulf, such as Louvre Abu Dhabi and the AlUla heritage sites in Saudi Arabia. He is a learning and engagement specialist who passionately believes in the universal appeal of culture and everyone’s human right to access it - regardless of barriers.

Anthony has previously sat on the board of the UK’s Science Centre network ASDC and lead masterclasses and training sessions all over the world, at conferences and symposia. He previously worked with Outside In Pathways on the Our Lives project.
